A Passage from Johnny Tremain

Here is a passage that I can sort of relate to, or in other words understand how Johnny felt during the text.

"What he saw there made him feel as if he had swallowed a small live kitten, but he can almost enjoy these pangs, for in his pocket was Mr. Hancock's silver."

I can relate to this sort of like when I'm at a restaurant. I get really hungry and instead of ordering the same thing I always get, I get something different since we bring more money to order something more expensive.
